Variable collimation and shielding, coupled with signal discrimination makes the OmniProbe perfect for many applications.
- Top-rated gamma probe is highly directional
- Adjustable collimators and shielding allow use in a variety of procedures
- Angled probe allows ease of detection in confined anatomical spaces
C-Trak OmniProbe is capable of measuring gamma energies up to 364 keV, and are designed to detect small sites of radioisotope uptake in the high scatter, highly variable background environments found with imaging radiolabels such as Indium 111 and Technetium 99m.
Achieving this level of performance is possible because of the probe's proprietary combination of variable collimation and shielding, coupled to the signal discrimination of the C-Trak Galaxy.
Patented, snap-on collimators vary the probe's field of view from 5mm to 3mm, and can be matched to suit tissue/background levels.
An optional Lechner collimator is available, which has a smaller aperture than the standard collimator provided. It provides even higher resolution for complex procedures where the nodes are close together and/or close to the injection site such as in the head and neck sentinel node biopsies.
